Dave Kalfen

As the founder of Kalfen Financial Solutions, Dave Kalfen specializes in planning for the unexpected and helping clients protect themselves and their families. He is motivated by helping clients make smart financial decisions consistent with their wealth accumulation and retirement objectives.

Dave obtained his CPA certification in 1982 and holds securities registrations and insurance licenses, which allow him to give qualified recommendations and tailored, thorough financial advice. The integration of his tax and investment experience offers a unique ability to guide his clients through the different phases of their lives and ensure that they are addressing all aspects of their finances when they put together their investment strategies. He obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Illinois.

A native of Skokie, Illinois, Dave currently lives in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife, Susan. Together, they have two adult children: Ian and Allison. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, cycling, playing tennis, and exercising.

David is past president and current board trustee of The Center For Enriched Living, a non- profit social agency helping people with developmental disabilities be fully included in the community, achieve personal success and enjoy a good quality of life. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, working out and eating healthy.
